James Ward

This is a bit more detail of someone I looked at in a previous blog. I really like his style and the element of comedy he brings into the illustrations and the way he combines his illustrations with ceramic and usable objects. I think this works really well, his illustrations are clean, he doesn't over complicate the image and design with too much colour or other detail around the object.

It is interesting to see the way people present and sell their work on sites like etsy, there is a massive online community where people make a name for themselves and become well known within these sites. It would be interesting to know how they get their work and name out there in other ways, e.g. do they sell their artwork in shops, or craft stalls or by any other means?
