This film has stuck in my mind ever since I saw it in the cinema a few years ago. Based on a true story about the French editor of Elle, Jean-Dominique Bauby filmed through his eyes of life after having suffered a stroke leaving him with the condition called 'locked in syndrom'. The film follows what his life was like before and after the stroke.

I really love the photography throughout the film and the way it captures the emotions and his point of view. It presents his outlook, thoughts and the way he deals with events after the stroke as he still has the same mind, just not control over his body. It is astonishing that he wrote a book and shows just what you can acheive, a must read.
