I folded this yellow card into a zig zag shape as I have previously done in making the books, to create one big fold out paper book. Then hole punched one hole for the ribbon tie and wrapped it all the way around annd tied in a bow. It is quite an intimate and personal book, a little experiment that I really like.
Some more Japanese bookbinding using really nice heavy weight yellow card and red thread. I really like the Japanese bookbinding technique, there is a lot of history behind it and it creates an interesting aesthetic to the book.
