Context- Learn different book binding and book making processes. Experiment with making different types of books, how does the techniques and processes reflect the books function/purpose? Explore how shapes, sizes of the book affect the final bound book.
Brief- To gain skills and knowledge of different bookmaking processes. Researching and experimenting with covers, materials, paper, shape, size, reflecting the books function/purpose.
E.g. Notebooks, need to be quite big for lots of writing. Sketchbooks, size affects size and content within the book. Fiction/Story books need to be able to carry around and read easily.
