What Are You Like?

A really good exhibition I visited a while back at Manchester Art Gallery, where lots of well known names illustrated/photgraphed/wrote about their favourite things; favourite past times, foods, memories, places etc to create a self portrait of sorts. The variety of interpretations was really interesting, this exhibition has always stuck in my mind, I bought myself a few of my favourites on postcards!

Eric Carle, I really like his collage/illustrative style. I like how he created a animal character for each of his favourite things. I also love 'The Hungry Caterpillar'.
